E o Grande Sertão virou pampa?: (des)continuidades na invenção dos povos do município de Chapada Gaúcha (MG)

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the current process of “invention” of the peoples making up the Chapada Gaucha municipality‟s area in northern Minas Gerais. The proposed narrative construction (inspired by the Deleuzian Bricolage) as well as the research arose out of a multidisciplinary approach (by seeking out the contributions of disciplines such as Anthropology, Philosophy, History, Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Sociology among others) and out of the “complex thinking”, that is, a thematic investigation under a trans disciplinary perspective. Such ambition conveys an autocratic and inexhaustible, pretentious character (in its intent to pursue the metasearch), what broadens the risks by meeting the academic demands, nevertheless being rewarding, if the goals be achieved. The theoretical work is based on Michel de Certeau‟s history, in opposition to Michel Foucault‟s analysis of the species “power”, with a methodological support from the Oral-History. At a first approach an examination of the interstices and intersections of the species in-between-place was carried out. The basis to the research‟s development were the reflections on the inventive processes of culture and identity, by which the scrutinizing of the species “power” unfolds itself, as nodal points, in the inner of the dynamics of (des)continuities driving the inventivities; germinal core of Chapada‟s becoming.
