Entre o Carlismo e o Lulismo no Estado da Bahia: tendências e articulações em Macarani

Abstract

This dissertation aims to understand the political dynamics in Macarani, in the midwest of Bahia, from the social phenomena of Carlismo and Lulismo. To build the interpretation, I resorted to the theoretical and methodological perspective of situational analysis, through which I developed the reading of the local political elites that hold hegemony and power in the municipality. I have as its foundation the perspective of looking at the social reality in the bias of the Anthropology Of Politics. It is a descriptive and analytical study of the relations and conflicts established between political associations with different ideological content. To perform the interpretation, from an ethnographic description, I resort to reading the social networks that articulate local institutions, entities and political actors. I took as data for the interpretation of the phenomena of Carlismo and Lulismo, the time of politics and the political strategize through which the municipality of Macarani articulates with the local, regional, state and national world.
