Educação permanente em saúde no programa saúde da família em Montes Claros : intenções, realidades e possibilidades

Abstract

The present study analyzes the experience of the education and training process at the work in two teams of the Programa Saúde da Família included in the national health program called Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) in the municipality of Montes Claros, starting from the guidelines of the National Politics of Permanent Education in Health, which presupposes that the educational processes should be structured according to the demands of the work process, based on the participation, involving the whole workers. The adopted methodology was supported by the qualitative research, considering the sense attributed by the workers to their work processes, the relationships that they establish among themselves, and in relation to the guidelines expressed by the National Politics of Permanent Education in Health. The analysis allowed to conclude that the proposal of Permanent Education in Health has not being completely implemented in the Programa Saúde da Família in Montes Claros. Besides, there is no understanding of its real significance by the interviewers of the health work system. It exists among the investigated workers, a desire for new knowledge on this field, but there are either discussion and nor problematization about the proposal of Permanent Education in Health, related to the difficulties of the work process as well as the demands of the health care of the population. The analysis permits to conclude, that among the teams of workers exists great potentialities, considering the proposals of the Permanent Education in Health, which seems to be a significant space of relationships at the work and continuous training.
